Career (2022-25): In her four years as a Hawk, Allyson saw action in 172 games and made 160 starts, where she put together a slash line of .295/.344/.437. She totaled 142 hits, which included 26 doubles, 14 homers, and drove in 75. Maynard also made an impact defensively, only making ten errors, giving her a fielding percentage of .984.Â

2025 (Senior): In her senior season, Maynard continued to be a staple in the middle of the Hawks order, was second on the team in batting average (.331), on-base percentage (.377), slugging percentage (.460), OPS (.837), at-bats (139), hits (46), doubles (9), home runs (3), RBIs (21), and total bases (64). She was also fantastic in the field, serving as the QU primary first baseman, making only four errors on 205 chances to give her a fielding percentage of .980. Allyson had her first career four-hit performance against Purdue Northwest (3/1/25) in game two, going 4-4 with three singles and a double.

2024 (Junior): Allyson had a slash line of .284/.340/.366 in 134 at-bats over 46 games. She had 38 hits, including five doubles, two home runs, and 17 RBIs. She was a force behind the plate, as she was tied for the conference lead with 13 runners thrown out on the base paths.Â
2023 (Sophomore): In her sophomore season, Maynard appeared in 35 games, making 25 starts, where she batted .197 with five doubles, one home run, and four RBIs.

2022 (Freshman): Maynard put together a fantastic freshman campaign, appearing in all 45 games for the Hawks, where she led the team with a .326 batting average, a .561 slugging percentage, and a .949 OPS. She also led the team with eight home runs and 33 RBIs, with her first collegiate home run in game one against Lindenwood (3/14/22).

Personal: Maynard joined the Hawks softball program from Toledo, Illinois, where she graduated from Cumberland High School. A two-sport varsity letter winner, she played a key role in her teams’ successes, contributing to a softball regional championship as a freshman in 2018 and a volleyball regional championship as a junior in 2019. Her individual achievements include earning Second Team All-Conference honors in softball in 2019 and First Team All-Conference in 2021. That same year, she was recognized as Player of the Year and received the Home Run Award for her outstanding performance on the field.
In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Allyson was a dedicated student, maintaining high honors all four years and being a member of the National Honor Society. Outside of sports, she enjoys shopping, camping with friends and family, and attending concerts. Her favorite athletes are Carly Hoover and Bailey Hemphill, and she is a passionate fan of Alabama Softball and the LA Rams.
Why QU?
I chose QU because this school was one of the few to allow me to earn a nursing degree and play softball together. After coming from a small town and stepping on campus, I noticed many similarities, and I knew I was going to call this place home.
