Waterloo, Ill. – The Quincy University Women's Golf team finished their season on a high note in the GLVC Championship. The 54 hole tournament was contested with 36 holes on Friday (4/22) and 18 holes on Saturday (4/23). The team placed seventh in 13 team field. The seventh place finish is the highest finish for the program since the 2004-2005 season.
The Hawks finished with a three round total of 1020 (336-346-338). The University of Indianapolis Greyhounds won the stroke play portion of the event with a 928 (314-306-308).
Karlie Schnepp posted the lowest total and lowest round for the Hawks with a 243 (84-83-76), that was good for 12
th place overall.
Hannah Maguire tied for 30
th with a total of 254 (81-88-85).
Natalie Dearwester tied for 39
th with a 259 (87-86-86).
Alyson Goggin and
Ashlyn Sanders rounded out the Hawk lineup. Goggin tied for 49
th with a 266 (86-89-91), while Sanders tied for 55
th with a 270 (85-94-91).
