St. Louis, Mo.—The Quincy University softball team wrapped up their six-game road trip with a conference doubleheader against the University of Missouri- St. Louis Tritons. The teams would split the doubleheader with the Hawks winning game 1 by the score of 2-1 and the Tritons winning game 2 by the score of 1-0.

GAME 1
In the bottom of the 3^rd, Corrine Daley got the Tritons on the board with and RBI single to give them a 1-0 lead. It would take until the top of the 6^th inning for the Hawks to tie the game. Tayor Downen homered to left field. Then in the top of the 7^th, Bailey Mitchell gave Quincy the lead for good with a home run of her own to left center.

Bailee Highbarger went the distance for the Hawks in the circle. She gave up seven hits, striking out 2, and allowing one walk.

GAME 2
The nightcap of the doubleheader was a classic pitchers' duel between Jayle Jennings and Annie Scaramuzzi. Jennings struck out three, allowed one walk, one run on seven hits. Scaramuzzi struck out nine, allowed three walks and four hits.

The Tritons won 1-0 on a walkoff single by Morgan Barnoski.
