2021 (Freshman): Appeared in 38 games, making 37 starts. Accumulated 34 hits in 112 at bats (.304 avg), 7 doubles, 5 home runs. Knocked in 17 RBIs while scoring 20 runs.

Background:
Mitchell is a Geneseo, IL native and is a history major at Quincy University. Mitchell is the daughter of Pat and Nancy, and has a younger brother Connor (15). Mitchell is a graduate of Geneseo High School, where she ended with an outstanding 4.32 GPA. She was also recognized for the National Honor Society, First Honor Roll, and graduated in the top 10% of her class. Mitchell amassed multiple accolades earning first team All-QCA, and Third Team All-State. She won a 4A Regional Championship in 2019.

I chose QU because of the atmosphere and comradery of the team and campus. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, so its easy to feel like your home here. Our team feels so much like a family, so you always know you have people to talk to and feel accepted by. Our coach is also one of the best people that I've ever met and she makes sure that everyone feels like their part of the family and makes time for each individual player and is always there if you need her.
