Romeoville, Ill. - The Quincy University men's volleyball team faced No. 5 Lewis University on Saturday evening (Mar. 27) for the second time in a row. The Hawks fell in all three sets, 25-17, 25-20, 25-19.
The Hawks fought at the beginning of the first two sets, but the Flyers managed to take over the lead which Quincy was not able to recover from. In the third set, QU fell behind early as Lewis rallied for four straight points to take a 5-1 lead. Quincy trailed the rest of the set and could not mount a comeback. Michael Ladner and Omari Wheeler both had 10 kills in the game and Matt Friddle totaled 27 assists for the Hawks.

The Hawks will be returning home on Friday (Apr. 2) to face Ohio State University at 7:00 p.m. in the final regular season weekend of the 2021 season.
