WEEKLY LOOK-AHEAD:  The Lady Hawks (14-11, 9-8 GLVC) welcome Truman State (16-9, 10-7 GLVC) to Pepsi Arena on Thursday night for the last regular season game of the season.  It is also senior night for the Lady Hawks.  The Lady Hawks are 5-7 on the road and 9-4 at home this season.

Truman State is on a four-game winning streak.  TSU is 5-6 on the road this season.  The Bulldogs beat Quincy in Kirksville, Mo. earlier this season on Dec. 6, 2014 (75-65).  The Bulldogs average 66.4 points per game this season and allow 65.9 points per game to opponents.  Allie Norton leads the team with 15.7 points per game.  Norton is shooting 40.3% from three this season averaging 2.9 threes per game.  Courtney Strait scores 13.4 points per game for the Bulldogs.  Michalina Tomczak averages 10.6 points per game and leads the team with 6.7 rebounds per game.

LAST LOOK AT LAST GAMES:  The Lady Hawks fell in overtime to the University of Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday (Feb. 19) before winning at home against Maryville University on Saturday (Feb. 21).

QU had a 10-point lead against UMSL with 11 minutes to play in the second half, but the Tritons sparked a 10-0 run and eventually took the lead.  Maggie Cunningham hit a runner in the paint to tie the game with four seconds remaining to push the game to overtime.  From there it was a battle from the charity stripe and QU missed four free throws in overtime after missing just one for 40 minutes of regulation.  UMSL went on to win 80-75.  Carly Beebe led all scorers with 16 points.  Anika Webster finished with 15 points and Maggie Cunningham scored 12 points.

Kara Gerbus and Erin Mennemeyer both scored career-highs to lead the Lady Hawks to an 82-62 win over Maryville on Saturday.  Gerbus scored 24 points against the Saints with five three-pointers.  Mennemeyer scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds against MU.  QU hit 11 threes in the game.

PLAYOFF PICTURE: The Lady Hawks play their last home game with a guaranteed berth in the playoffs.  They will be playing on Sunday, March 1, but we still do not know who or where.  Right now there are four teams who have secured the first round bye (Lewis, Drury, Wisconsin-Parkside, and Southern Indiana.)  Those teams will be booking their hotels in St. Charles, Mo.  With a win, Quincy could jump as high as fifth and host the No. 12 seed.  With a loss on Thursday against Truman State, the Lady Hawks could slip as far as ninth and travel to the eight seed.  It is more than likely that the Lady Hawks will be hosting a home postseason game in the first round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament, but we cannot be sure until all the games have played out on Thursday night.

CUNNINGHAM CLUTCH AGAIN: Maggie Cunningham put together a couple complete games this weekend with 12 points on Thursday including a game-tying jumper with time-winding down in regulation, and nine points on Saturday.  Cunningham averaged five assists and five rebounds this weekend with seven assists coming against Maryville on Saturday.  Cunningham's jumper on Thursday against Missouri-St. Louis was almost the mirror image of her gaime-winner against William Jewell and there was just five tenths of a second difference in the game clock.

CAREER-HIGHS FOR LADY HAWKS: Kara Gerbus and Erin Mennemeyer teamed up to turn in career-high scoring numbers against Maryville in the 20-point win.  Gerbus hit five threes en route to 24 points on Saturday.  Erin Mennemeyer scored 17 points going eight of 11 from the field to set a career mark.

WEBSTER SETTLING IN: Anika Webster has scored in double figures eight of her last 10 games.  In that stretch she has tied or topped her career-high three times.  The freshman forward has scored double-digits in 15 games this season.  The Springfield, Ill. native set a career-high with 17 points against Indianapolis on Feb. 12.  Most recently, Webster scored 15 points at Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday (Feb. 19).

MIXING AND MATCHING: The Lady Hawks have turned in 12 different starting lineups in 25 games this season.  The Maggie Cunningham, Kara Gerbus, Anika Webster, Carly Beebe, and Nikia Edom lineup just took over as the group that has started the most games at six.  They are currently 3-3 in those six starts together.  There has been just one student-athlete who has made every start this season: Nikia Edom.

HOT SHOOTING: The Lady Hawks are shooting 43.8% from the field this season ranking third in the GLVC.  Their field goal percentage ranks 33rd nationally.  The Lady Hawks' hot shooting extends outside the three-point arc.  QU is shooting 37.9% from three this season rankng second in the GLVC.  The Lady Hawks rank 14th in NCAA Division II three-point field goal percentage.  QU has averaged 72.3 points per game this season adding up to a positive 6.4 point differential.

DIMES FOR DAYS: The Lady Hawks have been dishing out dimes by the dozens lately.  Actually, they are averaging 15.3 assists per game which ranks third in the GLVC.  QU's assist average ranks tied for 42nd in NCAA Division II.  Carly Bettencourt leads the Lady Hawks with 3.5 assists per game.  Bettencourt ranks fifth in the GLVC.  Maggie Cunningham dishes out 3.4 assists per contest ranking ninth in the league.

LIGHTING UP THREES: The Lady Hawks average 7.8 threes per game this season ranking first in the GLVC.  QU is 14th in NCAA Division II.  Maggie Cunningham hit six threes against Indianapolis on Feb. 12.  Kara Gerbus set a career-high with five threes against Maryville on Saturday (Feb. 21).
