Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Kaitlyn Brown is from Quincy, Illinois, and graduated from Quincy Notre Dame High School, where she was a proud member of the Raiders. She has three siblings: Parker, Braden, and Lydia. Her family has strong ties to Quincy University; her father, David Brown, is a QU graduate and former men’s volleyball player, and her uncle, John Ley, also graduated from QU.

Kaitlyn made her mark in girls' tennis, where she was a doubles standout. She helped lead her team to a 1A Sectional Championship in 2023–2024 and qualified for the state tournament in doubles both years.

Outside of athletics, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with friends, playing tennis, and shopping. She looks up to professional athletes Jannik Sinner and Elli McKissock and is a fan of Florida Gator volleyball.

Why QU?
I chose QU because it is where I live, so I feel like I have a connection to this school. I have fellow relatives who went to this University and have only said good things about it. So it only made sense that this would be my future college.
