Personal: Kretzer is from Glen Carbon, Illinois, and attended Father McGivney Catholic High School, where she competed for the Griffins. She is the daughter of Kevin and Heather Kretzer and has three siblings, Michael, Rachel, and Ryan. Her father, Kevin, played collegiate soccer at Miami University in Ohio for two years.

Kretzer earned the Silver Medallion Award, was named an Illinois State Scholar, and served as the head of the National Honor Society’s Change a Child’s Christmas committee. She also received IHSA All-Sectional Sportsmanship recognition and helped Father McGivney win back-to-back Class 1A State Championships in 2025 and 2026.

Away from the field, Kretzer enjoys fishing, reading, and spending time with friends. She also volunteers at the Metro East Humane Society. Her favorite athlete is Rose Lavelle, while her favorite teams are the St. Louis Blues and St. Louis CITY SC.
