Biography
2025 (Freshman): As a true freshman, Richardson appeared in 18 matches and made four starts, logging 602 minutes on the Hawks’ attack. She took 13 shots, placing six on goal. Richardson made her collegiate debut against Purdue Northwest (9/4/25) and earned her first career start in a 2–0 win over Upper Iowa (9/26/25).
Personal: Emily Richardson is from Valmeyer, Illinois, and graduated from Gibault Catholic High School, where she proudly represented the Hawks on the soccer field. Her parents are Tiffany Richardson and Mike Renth, and she has one sibling, David Richardson.
Emily had an exceptional high school soccer career. She was a four-year leader for the Hawks, finishing as the team’s leading goal scorer all four years and topping the assist chart in her senior season. Her efforts earned her MVP honors, selection to the IHSSCA All-Sectional team, and recognition as Athlete of the Week by the Republic Times. She also broke the school record for most goals scored in a career and was ranked fourth in the St. Louis area for assists.
Academically, Emily earned 1st Honors and was involved in the Ambassador Club and SCOPE. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and playing soccer. Her favorite athlete is Cristiano Ronaldo, and she is a fan of Real Madrid.
