Biography
Personal: Gracelyn “Gracie” Vierra hails from San Jose, California, and is a proud graduate of Presentation High School, where she competed as a Panther. She is the daughter of Steve and Lisa Vierra and has two sisters, Nicole and Natalie. Her mom, Lisa, played women’s soccer at Chico State University in the mid-1980s, passing on a strong athletic legacy.
Academically, Gracie excelled; she was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Athletically, she was a standout on the soccer field. Gracie was a four-year varsity starter and earned a variety of WCAL (West Catholic Athletic League) honors: First Team All-League once, Second Team twice, and Honorable Mention once. She was also named Team MVP and helped lead her team to a CCS (Central Coast Section) Championship title. Beyond high school, she was recognized at the club level with an ECNL Northwest All-Conference First Team selection.
In her free time, Gracie enjoys cooking, exercising, and playing with her dogs. Her sports inspirations include Julie Ertz and Naomi Girma, and she’s a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Why QU?
I chose QU to play soccer at the next level. I was immediately welcomed by the team and coaches, and I also like how QU is one big family, which makes me feel better about being far away from home.
