2026 (Junior): Allen appeared in six matches with two starts during his second season with the Hawks, totaling 12 sets played. He recorded 32 kills, 46.5 points, nine service aces, seven digs, and 10 total blocks while averaging 3.88 points and 2.67 kills per set.
Allen hit .254 on the season and made the most of his limited action. His top performance came against Kentucky State (2/20/26), where he finished with a season-high 10 kills on a .474 hitting percentage while adding three service aces, two blocks, and 14 total points.

2025 (Sophomore): In his first season with the Hawks, Allen appeared in one game, making his debut in a QU uniform against Rockhurst (4/1/25), where he had two kills and a service ace for three total points.

2024 (Freshman at Kentucky State): Allen made an immediate impact during his freshman season with the Thorobreds, appearing in 83 sets. He ranked second on the team with 149 kills (1.80 per set) and led the team with 204.5 points (2.46 per set), which ranked among the top 10 in the SIAC.
Allen also totaled 12 assists and 23 service aces. Defensively, he recorded 30 digs and 50 total blocks, including 15 solo blocks and 35 block assists. Among NCAA freshmen, Allen ranked inside the top 15 nationally in every major statistical category.

Personal: Allen is from Tucson, Arizona, where he competed for the Salpointe Catholic High School Lancers, making a significant impact on the court. A dominant defensive player, he set the school’s all-time record for blocks with 176 and played a key role in leading his team to three 4A Gila Championships. His individual accolades include Salpointe Defensive Player of the Year, Salpointe Player of the Year, and 4A Gila Defensive Player of the Year. He was also named to multiple All-Tournament teams and earned Bronze at Nationals, where he was selected for the Nationals All-Tournament Team.
Off the court, Malachi was an honor roll student and a member of the Crossing the Goal Club. In his free time, he enjoys golf, gaming, and yoga. A fan of LeBron James and the Green Bay Packers, he is supported by his parents, Jessica and Terry Ackerson, and his sister, Jacqueline.
