Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Robert Raphael-McElroy is from Chicago, Illinois, and attended Brother Rice High School, where he played for the Crusaders. He is the son of Odette and Bob McElroy and has five siblings: Anthony, Anita, Tella, George, and Sam. Raphael-McElroy was highly involved during his time at Brother Rice, participating in Mock Trial, SADD, Creative Writing Club, Diversity Club, and Cooking Club, while also competing as a varsity bowler and varsity soccer player. He was a three-time varsity captain in lacrosse.

In the classroom, Raphael-McElroy earned High Honor Roll recognition four times and received multiple scholarships, including the Pilchard Foundation Scholarship, Marquette Bank Scholarship, All-American Boy High School Scholarship, and Iron Workers Local 1 Scholarship Award.
 

Outside of athletics, he enjoys basketball, lifting, reading, and staying active. His favorite athletes include Michael Jordan, Derrick Rose, Steve Kerr, and Jon Jones. He is a fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, and Chicago Bulls.
