Biography
2024 (Senior): In his senior season, Raymond led the team with 67 ground balls and 100 face-off victories in 196 attempts. He also had two goals, three assists, and six caused turnovers. Lingard scored his first career goal in a victory over Adams State (3/14/24). He had a season-high 12 ground balls and 12 face-off wins in a 20-12 win over Malone (2/24/24).
2023 (Junior): Did not see action.
2022 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, Lingard appeared in 14 games and made nine starts, where he led the team with 72 ground balls and 87 face-off wins in 166 tries. He also had five assists and eight caused turnovers. Raymond recorded his first career point with an assist against Rockhurst (2/5/22). In the final game of the season, Raymond had a season-high 15 ground balls and 20 face-off wins in 25 tries against Rockhurst (4/19/22).
2021 (Freshman): In his first season with the Hawks, Raymond appeared in nine games, where he had six ground balls, two caused turnovers, and was 8-13 in face-offs. He made his collegiate debut against Lindenwood (2/6/21).
Personal:Â Raymond Lingard III is from St. Louis, Missouri, and attended Christian Brothers College High School, where he played for the Cadets. He is the son of Raymond and Lynette Lingard. During his high school career, he was a two-time Class 6 state champion. His favorite athlete is D.K. Metcalf, and he is a fan of the Seattle Seahawks.
