Biography
2024 (Senior): In his senior season, Jordan appeared in 14 games and made 7 starts, where he had 10 goals, six assists, 13 ground balls and five caused turnovers. He recorded his 100th career point with a goal against Indianapolis (4/13/24).Â
2023 (Junior): As a junior, for the second straight season, Ernst led the team with 39 goals. He also had six assists, 17 ground balls, and five caused turnovers. Jordan had two six-goal games coming in wins over Wheeling (2/17/23) and Adams State (3/22/23).
2022 (Sophomore): In 13 games and 13 starts, Ernst led the team with 31 goals and 34 total points. He also had 17 ground balls and four turnovers. Jordan scored four or more goals five different times, including a six-goal performance in a win over Wheeling (2/13/22). He had his first career game-winning goal against Benedictine College (2/16/22).
2021 (Freshman): In his first season with the Hawks, Jordan appeared and started in nine games, where he had five goals, one assist, five ground balls, and three caused turnovers. He made his collegiate debut against Lewis (2/16/21) and scored his first career goal against Rockhurst (2/19/21). He had his first career multi-goal game against Davenport (3/13/21) with a pair of goals.
Personal:Â Jordan Ernst is from Saskatoon and attended Holy Cross High School, where he competed for the Crusaders. He is the son of Mark and Sharla Ernst and has two siblings, Brendan and Kiara. His brother Brendan played football for seven years with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. Jordan enjoys playing sports, video games, and spending time with friends. His favorite athletes include Connor McDavid and Sidney Crosby, and he roots for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, and Green Bay Packers.
