Biography
2025 (Sophomore): In his sophomore season, Cowan appeared in all 11 games and made one start, where he scored 10 goals and dished out 14 assists for 24 total points. He also had 27 ground balls and one caused turnover. Eli scored in all but three games on the season, including a multi-goal game against William Jewell (3/8/25), which included the game-winning goal. His season-high six ground balls came in the same game.

2024 (Freshman): In his first season, Cowan appeared in 14 games, where he totaled nine points with six goals and three assists. Eli scored his first career goal against Adams State (3/14/24) and had a four-goal game against CSU Pueblo (3/16/24). Cowan also scooped up 20 ground balls and caused one turnover.
Personal:Â Cowan is from Frisco, Texas, where he graduated from Lone Star High School. He earned Cum Laude honors for his academic achievements while excelling in multiple sports. As a varsity football player, he was part of the 2019 5A Texas Football State Semifinalist team. However, his biggest contributions came in lacrosse, where he served as team captain for three years, demonstrating leadership and commitment to the game.
Outside of sports, Eli enjoys riding his Rip Stick, playing Fortnite, and working out. He is a big fan of Troy Polamalu, Antonio Brown, Dirk Nowitzki, and Ian Kinsler, and he is a passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Stars, and Texas Rangers. Eli is the son of Heather and Clint Cowan and the brother of Cade.Â
