Biography

Career (2023-26): Mansfield appeared in 159 games across his collegiate career, spending two seasons at John Wood Community College, one season at Jacksonville State, and one season with the Hawks. At the plate, he finished with a .368 batting average, .515 on-base percentage, .774 slugging percentage, and 1.290 OPS.

Mansfield totaled 179 hits, 48 doubles, six triples, 46 home runs, 377 total bases, 100 extra-base hits, 171 RBIs, 165 runs scored, 119 walks, 36 hit by pitches, and went 29-for-31 in stolen base attempts. He also recorded 52 career multi-hit games.

On the mound, Mansfield made nine relief appearances, posting a 1-1 record with two saves across 9.2 innings pitched. He finished with a 2.79 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, and 12 strikeouts to just four walks.

2026 (Redshirt Senior): Mansfield made a major impact in his first season with the Hawks as a dual threat at the plate and on the mound. After missing the beginning of the season due to injury, he appeared in 39 games with 38 starts and hit .348 with a .488 on-base percentage, team-best .705 slugging percentage, and team-best 1.193 OPS.

At the plate, Mansfield recorded 12 doubles, one triple, a team-high 11 home runs, 43 RBIs, 42 runs scored, 31 walks, six hit by pitches, and went 9-for-11 in stolen base attempts. He made his Quincy debut in a big way against Davenport (2/27/26), going 2-for-4 with his first home run as a Hawk, and finished the season with 12 multi-hit games.

On the mound, Mansfield made seven relief appearances, six of which came without allowing an earned run. He went 1-1 with two saves across 6.1 innings, striking out nine batters while issuing just one walk and holding opponents to a .240 batting average. He earned his first collegiate win on the mound against Davenport (2/28/26), recording his lone out via strikeout, and picked up his first collegiate save after recording the final three outs against Missouri-St. Louis (2/22/26).

2025 (Junior at Jacksonville State): Mansfield appeared in 11 games for the Gamecocks, going 1-for-14 at the plate with one RBI, two walks, and one hit by pitch. He made his debut for the Gamecocks against Oakland (2/14/25), recording his lone hit of the season.

2024 (Sophomore at John Wood CC): As a sophomore, Mansfield posted a .341 batting average with 58 hits, including 18 doubles, two triples, and 11 home runs. He drove in 50 RBIs and scored 58 runs while drawing 51 walks, finishing the season with a .665 slugging percentage and a .515 on-base percentage. Mansfield recorded 15 multi-hit games and put together a 10-game hitting streak.

2023 (Freshman at John Wood CC): Mansfield delivered a historic freshman campaign at John Wood Community College, hitting .433 with 18 doubles, 24 home runs, 74 RBIs, and 65 runs scored. He also posted a .559 on-base percentage and .994 slugging percentage while adding 10 stolen bases.

Mansfield made his collegiate debut against Culver-Stockton JV (2/7/23) and recorded his first career hit against Shawnee Community College (2/18/23). He hit his first collegiate home run the following day (2/19/23), going 4-for-4 with three home runs and four RBIs. Mansfield finished the season with 25 multi-hit games and three hitting streaks of six or more games.
