2024 (Sophomore at LLCC): As a sophomore with the Loggers, where he had a 9.68 ERA and a 2.32 WHIP over 17.2 innings. He had an 0-2 record with one save and struck out 28 strikeouts. He notched his first career save in an 11-8 win over Lake Land College (4/19/24), where he recorded the final out.

2023 (Freshman at LLCC): Appeared in seven games, including one start, totaling 6.2 innings pitched. He posted a 5.40 ERA while striking out nine batters. He made his collegiate debut in an 11–0 victory over St. Louis Community College (2/25/23), tossing a scoreless inning.

Personal: Matthew Miscik is from Highland, Illinois, and attended Highland High School, where he played for the Bulldogs. He spent two seasons at Lincoln Land Community College before transferring to Quincy University. Miscik is the son of Dave and Lori Miscik. In the classroom, he earned National Honor Society recognition and was named MWAC Academic All-Conference as well as an NJCAA Academic All-American. Outside of baseball, he enjoys bowling and golf. His favorite athlete is Kevin Gausman, and he is a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.
