2026 (Freshman): Farnaus was excellent in limited action during his freshman season, appearing in seven games with six starts. He went 8-for-18 for a .444 batting average, adding one double, one triple, eight RBIs, and four walks to just one strikeout. He finished with a .522 on-base percentage and a .611 slugging percentage while going 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts and posting a perfect fielding percentage in 17 chances.
Farnaus made his collegiate debut against Colorado Mesa (2/14/26), drawing a walk. He recorded his first collegiate hit, RBI, and stolen base against Truman State (3/7/26). He reached base in five of his six starts and tallied three multi-hit games.

Personal: Keegan Farnaus is a native of Joliet, Illinois, and a graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy. He is the son of Ron and Annie Farnaus and has one sister, Addi, along with a dog, Maddon. Farnaus excelled academically, earning High Honor Roll distinction while also being a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta.
A two-sport varsity athlete in baseball and football, Farnaus was part of back-to-back IHSA Class 5A State Runner-Up football teams in 2023 and 2024. On the baseball field, he earned Perfect Game All-Tournament Team honors, Prep Baseball Illinois Preseason All-State recognition, and ESCC All-Conference honors while helping his team win a WJOL Baseball Championship.
Outside of baseball, Farnaus enjoys golfing, bowling, and playing video games. His favorite athletes include Dale Earnhardt, Bryce Harper, Tiger Woods, and Nico Hoerner, and he is a fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Blackhawks.
