2025 (Sophomore at John Wood CC): As a sophomore, McMasters appeared in 18 games, all out of the bullpen, posting a 3–2 record with five saves across 22.0 innings. He finished the season with a 3.68 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP while striking out 19 batters. McMasters recorded his first collegiate save with a scoreless inning in a 6–3 win over Gadsden State (2/21/25), and in 14 of his 18 appearances he did not allow a run.

2024 (Freshman at John Wood CC): In his freshman season, McMasters appeared in 16 games and made five starts, posting a 3–6 record with an 8.83 ERA and a 2.13 WHIP across 34.2 innings. He struck out 38 batters while issuing 28 walks. McMasters made his collegiate debut against Indian Hills (2/16/24), starting the game and tossing three innings while allowing two runs and striking out three. He earned his first career win by throwing 1.1 scoreless innings in a 14–9 victory over Spoon River (3/24/24).
