Quincy enters the matchup with a 1-2 record and currently sits third in the Midwest Sprint Football League standings.

The Hawks will look to build off several strong individual and statistical performances from their first meeting with Calumet while aiming to even the season series.

Game One Recap

The Hawks and Crimson Wave have already met once this season, with Calumet earning a 21-6 victory on September 20th at Quincy Stadium.

Despite the final score, Quincy finished the afternoon with 306 yards of total offense compared to 259 for CCSJ and recorded 18 first downs to Calumet's 16.

Saturday's Opponent

Calumet enters Saturday's rematch at 2-1 in conference play and is coming off a narrow 16-15 victory over Bellarmine.

The Crimson Wave have picked up important conference wins early in the season and will return home looking to continue that momentum against the Hawks.

CCSJ enters Saturday's matchup coming off a dramatic 16-15 victory over Bellarmine.

The Crimson Wave trailed 15-13 late in the fourth quarter before putting together a 12-play, 49-yard drive that set up a game-winning 7-yard field goal as time expired.

Zaire Davis led Calumet's rushing attack with 240 yards and two touchdowns, including a 10-yard touchdown run that brought the Crimson Wave within two points. Calumet finished with 349 total yards, including 265 on the ground, while overcoming six turnovers to secure the victory.

By the Numbers

Through three games, Quincy has shown a strong passing attack, averaging 244.7 passing yards per game. The Hawks are averaging 80.3 rushing yards per game and 15.3 points per contest, while producing 325.0 yards of total offense per game.

Quincy has totaled 734 passing yards and 241 rushing yards through the first half of the season.

Calumet has taken a more balanced approach, averaging 138.3 passing yards and 137.3 rushing yards per game.

The Crimson Wave are scoring 20.3 points per game while averaging 275.7 total yards per contest. Calumet has been particularly effective on the ground recently, rushing for 265 yards in its 16-15 victory over Bellarmine.

The numbers set up an interesting matchup on Saturday, with Quincy bringing one of the stronger passing attacks while Calumet has demonstrated its ability to move the ball on the ground.

First Road Meeting

The upcoming rematch provides Quincy with another opportunity to turn its offensive production into points and finish drives.

The Hawks moved the ball effectively in the first meeting, including a pair of fourth-quarter drives that reached deep into Calumet territory, but both ultimately ended in turnovers on downs.

With both teams coming off important results and Calumet currently holding a 2-1 conference mark, Saturday's matchup will be another significant test for Quincy as the Hawks continue their MSFL schedule.

Kickoff is set for 5:00 PM in Whiting, Indiana.
