Newton and Rheinheimer Continue to Drive the Attack
Quincy enters Sunday with significant offensive momentum after its seven-goal performance.
Newton continues to serve as the primary creator for the Hawks. Her two assists against Upper Iowa moved her to 14 for the season, establishing a new Quincy single-season record. Newton has also added four goals and remains one of the most productive playmakers in the country.
Rheinheimer continues to lead the Hawks as a finisher.
The senior now has 12 goals this season after scoring twice Wednesday and has surpassed 50 career points in a Quincy uniform.
Together, Newton and Rheinheimer have helped give Quincy one of the most dangerous attacking combinations in the conference during the closing stretch of the regular season.
Conference Tournament Berth Within Reach
Sunday carries significant postseason implications for Quincy.
The Hawks enter fifth in the GLVC standings with 22 points, sitting just two behind fourth-place Maryville and three ahead of Rockhurst.
UMSL, Missouri S&T and McKendree have already secured spots in the GLVC Tournament. With only two matches remaining, Quincy needs just one point to guarantee its own place in the eight-team conference tournament field.
The Hawks also remain firmly in the race for a top-four seed.
A victory Sunday would move Quincy to 25 points and could push the Hawks into a hosting position depending on results elsewhere in the conference.
The top eight teams qualify for the GLVC Tournament, while the top four seeds host the opening round.
Following Sunday's matchup, Quincy will close the regular season on the road at Truman State.
Defense Continues to Set the Tone
While Quincy's offense erupted Wednesday, the Hawks have continued to rely on consistent defensive play throughout the season.
Quincy has allowed just 12 goals through 15 matches and has recorded another shutout after blanking Upper Iowa. Kamp has continued to settle into the goalkeeper role during the closing stretch and was rarely tested Wednesday, making all three saves she faced.
The Hawks will look to maintain that defensive form against a Lincoln team that has scored nine goals this season.
Scouting Lincoln

The Blue Tigers are coming off a 2-0 loss to Maryville and have dropped four straight matches. Maryville scored in the 17th and 58th minutes Wednesday while finishing with a 23-3 advantage in shots.

Matchup Outlook

Lincoln will look to respond on its Senior Day and end a four-match losing streak, with Greathouse and Jallah serving as the primary attacking threats.
For Quincy, maintaining its defensive consistency while continuing to convert scoring chances could be enough to secure another important road result.
