INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced it 2024-25 team and individual Academic All-GLVC honorees on Monday and Tuesday (Jun. 23 & 24), recognizing 12 Hawks' teams, and 273 QU student-athletes as Academic All-Conference selections for their efforts in the classroom. 

A total of 189 squads were honored as Team Academic All-GLVC across 15 member schools, and three associate member institutions, recognizing each men's and women's team that maintained a 3.30 grade point average or better on a 4.0 scale for the 24-25 academic year. 

Women's swimming led the way for Quincy University, turning in a 3.57 team GPA, followed by: men's soccer (3.55), women's volleyball (3.55), women's lacrosse (3.52), softball (3.48), women's tennis (3.47), women's soccer (3.44), men's swimming (3.40), men's cross country (3.37), men's golf (3.37), women's basketball (3.35), and women's golf (3.34). 

All nine Hawks' teams recognized with the honor a season ago made an appearance on the list, once again this season, with the addition of women's basketball, women's tennis and men's cross country. 

Of the 4,336 individual Academic All-Conference honorees holding a 3.30 GPA or higher throughout the school year, Quincy placed 273 student-athletes on the list, an improvement of over 50 from the institution's 221 selections a year ago. 

Baseball paced the field for the Hawks, earning 33 total Academic All-GLVC honorees followed by: men's soccer (30), women's soccer (26), football (22), women's volleyball (20), men's swimming (20), women's swimming (18), men's lacrosse (18), softball (13), women's lacrosse (12), men's basketball (9), women's basketball (9), men's track & field (8), men's wrestling (8), men's golf (7), women's tennis (4), women's golf (3), women's cross country (3), women's track & field (3), men's cross country (3), men's tennis (2), and women's bowling (2).
