Wyatt Walsh and
Borna Kisasondi finished their final day of swimming for the 2024-2025 season on Friday (Mar. 14). Walsh swam the 500 freestyle and once again, made it to the evening session, while Kisasondi finished his season in the preliminaries in the 100 backstroke.
Coming off a 6th place finish in the 400IM, Walsh had his best showing in the 500 freestyle on Friday morning, shaving two seconds off his best time at 4:26.65. Walsh qualified for the consolation final for Friday evening's session.
Kisasondi competed in a tough group of swimmers in the backstroke and finished his sophomore season with a 49.24-second 100 backstroke.
Walsh and Kisasondi made Hawk history this year at nationals, both making consolation finals for the first time, and Walsh bringing home the Hawks' first hardware with a 6th place finish in the 400 IM. Overall the Hawks finished 29th out of 36 teams with 16 points.
