Following a DUC score,

The Hawks really got things going in the second period using a 6-0 run during the quarter as the decisive blow in earning the victory in the match.
Christian Czarny netted a pair of goals in just about 10 seconds of game time a little over a minute into the second half. The first assisted by
Colin Usher and the second from Marano before Marano shared the wealth again roughly a minute later on a goal by

DUC looked poised to make things interesting in the final 15 minutes, scoring three times to open the period and cut the deficit to 11-8. QU responded with a pair of unassisted goals by Brain as he bullied his way to the cage for two scores in under 40 seconds. The Penguins found the back of the net twice more heading down the stretch to give the Hawks a 13-10 victory.
