LU added three more goals to close out the period up 7-1 along with the first three scores of the second period as a pair of penalties for Quincy were converted into Flyer goals along with another at even strength to make it 10-1.

The Hawks out-scored their opponent for the remainder of the first half, finding the back of the next twice to just one from LU on goals for Marano and Jordan Ernst to trail 11-3 at the break.

Quincy fared the best in the third, scoring a pair of goals in the frame from Marano and Haakon Steen to three goals from its opponent to bring the tally to 14-5 after three.
