Marquette, Mich. – The Quincy University men's soccer team traveled to Northern Michigan University for a non-conference matchup against the Wildcats. A late penalty kick for the Wildcats sealed fate for the Hawks, sending them home with another loss in the column.
Quincy met the Wildcats halfway throughout the game with similar chances at net.
George Roke got the start in goal for the Hawks and kept the scoreboard clean with two saves. Though the Hawks tallied more fouls, Norhtern Michigan accumulated five yellow cards in the match.

Stan Cargill slide tackled Northern Michigan's winger from behind, resulting in a yellow card for Cargill and the penalty kick that put the Hawks under. Goalkeeper
Jake Offerman faced the penalty kick and had one other save in the contest.
The Hawks look to rebound on Tuesday (Sept. 5) when they take on the Purdue Northwest Pride in Hammond, Indiana.
