The Peacocks struck in the first minutes of play. A cross from the left side and a header to the far post put the Hawks down by one after two minutes of play. The Peacocks' second goal of the game was similar to the first, a free kick header to the back post secured the game for Upper Iowa fifteen minutes into play.

The Hawks had opportunities to get on the board with two corner kicks and a free kick near the box halfway through the half, but couldn't find the back of the net. In the 41
st minute, the Peacocks scored their third goal on a penalty kick.

The Peacocks scored their last goal in the first ten minutes of the second half when the Peacock striker broke off from the defense and sent the ball near post. The Hawks got two penalty kick opportunities in the second half to kick start their offense.

Gavin Higgins got the lone goal of the game off his penalty kick.

The Hawks look to turn the tide next weekend when they face University of Illinois Springfield on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The game will be played at home.
