Biography

2024 (Senior):In his senior season, Higgins made an appearance in 14 games, starting in five of them. He played a career-high 601 minutes on the season and scored both of his goals in back-to-back games against William Jewell (10/4/24) and Truman State (10/6/2024).

2023 (Redshirt Sophomore): In 13 games and six starts, Gavin took four shots, with three of them being on goal, and recorded his first collegiate goal against Upper Iowa (9/24/23).

2022 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in six games for the Hawks, where he played a total of 95 minutes and took one shot.  

2021 (Freshman): Did not see action.

Personal: A native of Quincy, Higgins was a student at Quincy High School. Higgins enjoys hanging out with friends, being outdoors, and exercising. He is also a fan of Liverpool FC and Steven Gerrard. Gavin is the son of Renee and Curtis Higgins and the brother of Grant, who was a member of the QU men's soccer team from 2019-2022.

Why QU?
I chose QU because it was the best fit for me academically and athletically.
