Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Quincy, Ill. – The Quincy University tennis program fell to Rockhurst University on Saturday (Apr. 15). The men lost 3-4 and the women lost 2-4.
 
Men's Results
 
Quincy started strong in doubles action with wins from Ettore Pavesi/Zach Willing (6-3) and Samuele Contestabile/Sebastian Gomez (6-4). Rockhurst picked up their lone doubles win after defeating Brendan Everhart and Pablo Mateos Niella 2-6.
 
Rockhurst came out strong in singles play, winning four out of the six matches. Contestabile won his match outright against Louis Keiner 6-3 and 6-4. Pablo Mateos Niella came out with a quick win (6-1, 6-2) to finish men's play for the day.
 
The Quincy University men's tennis team concluded their season 1-10.
 
Women's Results
 
The Quincy Hawks were strong in doubles play with wins from Varvara Griva/Blanca Salas Cruz (6-4) and Anna Matino/Katrin Ismailova (7-6). Steffi Lao and Mar Sarda Marti fell just short of victory in their match (7-6).
 
Griva won the lone singles match for the Hawks, beating Sofia Valdespino 6-4 and 6-2. Katrin Ismailova's match against Andrea Dabbah went unfinished, each tied at one set apiece.
 
The Quincy University women's tennis team finished their season 5-6, 2-2 in GLVC play. The Hawks secured the 4^th seed in the West Division for the GLVC tournament and will face No. 1 University of Indianapolis Friday, April 21^st at 9 a.m.
