LIBERTY, Mo. – The Quincy University women's tennis team closed out the 2026 season in dominant fashion, sweeping William Jewell 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Hawks controlled the match from the start, earning the doubles point with wins on all three courts. The duos of
Anna Matino and
Mahi Panchal and
Maria Sarria and
Heidi Navas each earned 6-0 victories, while
Sofia Tesic and
Nadia Araguás picked up a win by default.
Quincy carried that momentum into singles play, sweeping all six matches to complete the shutout. Panchal led the way with a straight-set win at No. 1, while Sarria, Matino, Navas, and
Brittney Kelly each added dominant victories. Tesic earned the final point by default.
The Hawks finish the season with an 8-12 overall record and a 1-4 mark in GLVC play. Panchal led Quincy with 14 singles wins, competing at the No. 1 position throughout the season, while Sarria paced the team with 11 doubles victories.
