MUNCIE, Ind. The Quincy University Men's Volleyball team would travel to Muncie, Indiana to play against Ball State University in the MIVA tournament. Quincy University would be the #8 seed and Ball State University would be the #1 seed. The Hawks would lose in straight sets (25-20), (25-19), (25-15) and end their season with a record of 8-19. 

1st Set

After going down by two to start the game, AJ Goedheer would get the first kill of the game for Quincy followed by some Ball State errors that would give Quincy the 4-2 lead. After the game got tied up at 6-6 each Raje Alleyne would get his first kill of the game to give the Hawks a one point lead. The Cardinals would go on a four point run to open the game up to 11-7. 

QU would go on a four point run of their own to tie the game up at 12-12 later in the set thanks to a kill by Raje Alleyne and an Ace from Jonas Holzinger. After going back and forth for the next several points Ball State University would go on a three point run that the Hawks could not catch up with as they ended up losing the first set 25-20. AJ Goedheer would lead QU with 3 kills in the first set. 

2nd Set

Quincy University would once again go down 3-1 early in the set but an error by Ball State followed by a kill from AJ Goedheer would tie the game back up at 3-3. The Cardinals would go up 7-5 but The Hawks would go on a three point run finished by a kill from Jonas Holzinger to tie the game, and a kill by Raje Alleyne to give the Hawks the lead. 

Ball State University would respond with a three point run of their own to take a 10-8 lead, but an error by the Cardinals followed by a kill by AJ Goedheer would tie the game at 10-10 once again. Ball State University would go on several three point runs towards the back end of the set to win the set 25-19. AJ Goedheer would once again lead the Hawks with 3 kills in the set. 

3rd Set

The third set would start off with both teams going back and forth, but back to back kills by Keegan Carey and AJ Goedheer would give Quincy University an early 6-5 lead. After the Cardinals tied the game right back up AJ Goedheer would get a kill to reclaim the Hawks lead. But a five point run by Ball State University would be too much for Quincy University to bounce back from as they end up losing the last set 25-15. 

Quincy University ended their season with an 8-19 record.
