Biography
2024 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, Logan appeared in 23 matches and played in 80 sets, where he had 69 kills, 12 service aces, and 33 total blocks for a total of 103.5 points. He also had seven assists and 16 digs.Â

2023 (Freshman): In his freshman season, Gieseke saw action in 26 matches for a total of 86 sets, where he had 91 kills and eight service aces and was second on the team with 58 total blocks for a total of 134.0. He made his collegiate debut against Limestone (1/19/23), where he had four kills and four total blocks. He had a season-high eight kills against Loyola Chicago (4/1/23) and Lewis (4/8/23). He also had a season-high seven blocks against Purdue Fort Wayne (3/30/23).

Personal: Logan Gieseke is from Joliet, Illinois, and attended Plainfield Central High School, where he played for the Wildcats. He is the son of Brian and Tina Gieseke and has three siblings: Paige, Claire, and Molly. Logan was a four-year varsity player and served as a two-time team captain. His standout performance on the court earned him two All-Conference and two All-State honors, along with recognition as a 2021 Conference MVP Finalist. He was also named one of the 2022 Top 100 Boys Volleyball Athletes and holds the school record for most kills in a single season with 311. Outside of volleyball, Logan enjoys playing cards. His favorite athletes include Taylor Crabb, Taylor Averill, and Matt Anderson, and he’s a fan of the USA Men’s National Volleyball Team.
