North Canton, Ohio - The Quincy University Hawks Football team traveled to Walsh University to take on the Cavaliers on Saturday. The Hawks came away with their second win of the season by the score of 28-13 after trailing at the halftime break.

The Cavaliers were up throughout the first half with a 10-0 lead until David Tabokovic recorded a safety late in the second quarter to put the Hawks in the scoring column.
At the beginning of the second half, the Hawks needed just 3 plays to get in the end zone as Tionne Harris connected with Angel Ruiz for a 7- yard touchdown pass. A Drew Lenzen 35 yard field goal put the Hawks ahead 11-10.

After the Cavaliers scored a field goal of their own to go up 13-11. It was the leg of Lenzen again putting the Hawks ahead again with a 22 yard field goal.

The Hawks made their mark in the fourth quarter as Tionne Harris scored a 15 yard rushing touchdown with 2:46 left in the game to give the Hawks a 21-13 lead.

Tremayne Lee capped off the victory as he scored on a 43 yard rushing touchdown to secure the win for the Hawks by a score of 28-13.The Hawks move to 2-1 on the season.

The Hawks will be in action next Saturday (Sept. 24) as they will face Ashland University at 1:00 PM at QU Stadium. It is Homecoming weekend at Quincy University.
