Biography

2023 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, Lenzen kicked off 17 times for the Hawks, totaling 927 yards, good for an average of 54.5 yards per kickoff. 

2022 (Redshirt Freshman): In his second season with the Hawks, Lenzen was 9-12 on field goal attempts and 35-41 on PATs, leading the Hawks in scoring with 62 total points. He made his first career field goal with a 23-yarder against Glenville State (9/1/22). Lenzen also went 9-9 on PATs in a thrilling 63-62 overtime victory over McKendree (10/15/22). His season-long was a 37-yarder against Truman State (10/29/22).

Personal: Andrew “Drew” Lenzen is from Cedar Hill, Missouri, and attended Northwest High School, where he excelled as a multi-sport athlete for the Lions. The son of Carter and Krista Lenzen, Drew has two siblings, Andy and Carter. He was a dedicated student, participating in the National Honor Society and Lion Crew for two years. Athletically, he earned First Team All-Conference honors as a kicker, defensive back (twice), and wide receiver, as well as First Team All-District recognition at both receiver and shortstop. He also earned First Team All-Conference and All-District honors in baseball as a shortstop. Drew helped lead his team to a Suburban West Orange Conference Championship and set the Northwest High School record for most receiving yards in a single season with 715 yards on 32 receptions. In 2019, he was ranked the No. 1 kicker in the nation for the class of 2021 by NCS and was selected to play for the USA National Team in both 2018 and 2019. Outside of sports, Drew enjoys fishing and hunting, looks up to NFL kicker Jason Myers, and cheers for the St. Louis Cardinals. He is passionate about mentoring younger athletes and helping them pursue their sports goals.
