Early Goal Downs Hawks on the Road

SAINT LOUIS, MO. – The Women's Soccer team hit the road in GLVC play to take on the University of Missouri – St. Louis Tritons. The Hawks dropped the game to the Tritons by the score of 2-0.

A goal in the 7th minute by the Tritons gave them the early advantage. The rest of the first half was quiet for both sides.

During the 2nd half, the Hawks came out with the attacking mentality as they fired 7 shots towards the Tritons' net. UMSL added an insurance goal in the 87th minute.

Lexi Porchia paced the Hawks with 2 shots, both on target.

The Hawks will return home on Sunday, September 18th as they host the Miners of Missouri S&T at 12:00 p.m.
