Biography
Background:
Mero is a local product from Quincy, IL, and is a pre-med major at Quincy University. Mero is the daughter of John & Tanya, and sister of Ben(23), Bryce (21), Lexi (15). Her brother, Ben was a defender for the Hawks and graduated in 2020. Mero graduated with a 4.6 GPA and finished 3rd in her class with High Honor Roll recognition. Mero has taken part in giving back the the community as she has completed 54 service hours with the National Honor society. Along with soccer, Mero was involved with Beta Club, Women of Christ, and Cheerleading for the Blue Devils. Mero played under Travis Dinkheller and won three Western Big Six titles for the Blue Devils. Mero was a two-time all-conference standout as an attacking midfielder for Quincy High.
Why I chose QU
I chose QU because it allows me to continue playing the sport I love and have a successful academic career.
