Quincy, Ill. - The Quincy University Women's Soccer team played host to the Lady Panthers of Davenport University to open their season on Friday evening (August 26) at Legends Stadium. QU played the Lady Panthers to a scoreless draw after 90 minutes.
DU doubled up Quincy in shots for the game 14-7 keeping the Lady Hawks on their heels for the first half of play. Davenport shot 10 times in the frame forcing QU keeper

Looking to take advantage of 11 second half fouls for the Lady Panthers, the QU offense applied the pressure in the second half outshooting Davenport 5-4 but were unable to find the back of the net. Senior

Ella Wolfard both registered two shots for the game to lead the team.
The Lady Hawks will host the Lady Cardinals of Saginaw Valley State University on Sunday, (August 28) for a 2:30 contest at Legends Stadium.
