Quincy, Ill.—The Quincy University Men's and Women's Tennis teams hosted Illinois-Springfield on Sunday (3/28). The Men fell by the score of 7-0, while the Women fell 5-2.

MEN'S MATCH
In doubles action, Zach Willing and Samuele Contestabile lost 6-2 to Menno Servaes and Sebastian Jonsson. During the 2 doubles match, Brenden Everhart and Pablo Mateos Niela fell to Nick Revin and Oscar Toro by the score of 6-2. To round out doubles action, Erik Weiler and Sebastian Gomez lost 6-2 to Matthew Lapsley and Ivan Esguerra.

In singles action, Contestabile, Everhart, Weiler and Willing all lost in straight sets in their respective matches. Niela and Gomez forced a third set, but ultimately lost to their opponents.

WOMEN'S MATCH
In doubles action, Laila Leist-Alston and Blanca Salas Cruz won 6-4 over Neha Mokhasi and Sina Skjelstad. During the 2 doubles match, Steffi Lao and Juliana Vidal fell to Bucco Franca and Carmen Llopis Fabra by the score of 7-5. To round out doubles action, Katrin Ismailova and Paula Martinez lost 6-3 to Riann Hsu and Piper Schrepferman.

In singles action, Leist-Alston and Salas Cruz won their respective matches. Lao, Vidal, Ismailova and Nora Hennesy all lost their matches in straight sets.
