Hawks Fall After Adams State Scores Two Late Goals

QUINCY, IL---The Quincy University Hawks fell 12-11 on Wednesday (March 23) afternoon 12-11 versus Adams State. 

The Hawks led late, but two goals by Adams State in the final moments of the game propelled them over the Hawks in the non-conference matchup on Wednesday at QU Stadium. 

It was tied 6-6 at halftime, but QU bounced back and took a 10-8 lead before they got outscored 4-1 in the fourth quarter. 

Adams State tied the game with 1:15 left and secured the game winning goal with just 24 seconds left in the game. 

Jordan Ernst and Preston William led QU with four goals each.
