SPRINGFIELD, MO---The Quincy University Hawks fell 72-45 at Drury on Friday (Feb 25) afternoon.

Drury outscored the Hawks 18-5 in the first quarter, and held the Hawks to just nine first half points. 

Quincy had a strong third quarter as they outscored Drury 27-22 in the frame, but it was not enough to rally from the 25 point halftime deficit. 

Dami Adeyinka led QU with 10 points on 4-7 from the field, while Sarah Nelson added 8 points. Maddie Spagnola led the Hawks with six rebounds. 

Drury scored 32 points off 22 Quincy turnovers, and Quincy held Drury below its scoring average despite the road setback.

Quincy will finish the regular season Saturday (Feb 26) at Southwest Baptist for a 1:00 PM tip and they will play on Monday (Feb 28) in the opening round of the GLVC tournament.
