SAINT LOUIS, MO---The Quincy University women's basketball team played Monday (Feb 14) night in a makeup game against Maryville in Saint Louis, MO and fell 73-37. 

Maryville dominated QU early outscoring the Hawks 26-5 in the opening quarter, which ultimately proved to be too big of a deficit. Maryville used a 16-0 burst to expand its lead in the opening quarter. 

Emma Knipe led Quincy with a double double with 11 points and 13 rebounds while she went 4-7 from the floor. 
Overall Quincy just went 11-59 (18.6%) from the field and 4-23 (17%) from beyond the arc during the contest. The shooting percentage the Hawks posted in this game was the lowest they've registered this season. 

The Hawks had 11 points at the foul line, got 12 from 3-pointers, and 14 came from insdie the three-point line (10 of which came in the paint). The Hawks had 8 second chance points and turned the ball over 19 times despite force 13 Maryville turnovers. All-GLVC guard Antoinette Mussorici led the Saints with 23 points.
