QUINCY, Ill. – In their home opener, the sprint football dropped the game 12-0 to the Bellarmine Knights despite 203 yards of passing from Nick Manzo.

The Knights got on the board in the 2^nd quarter with a 16 yard TD pass from Dylan Gough to Jerry McGee on a 6 play, 60 yard drive. Bellarmine added an insurance touchdown on a 43 yard interception return with less than a minute left in the contest.

The Hawk offense was never to sustain a drive and failed to score for the first time this season.

QU will remain at home on Hawktober 15^th against Calumet College of St. Joseph after a bye week.
