Romeoville, Ill. - The Quincy University men's lacrosse team took the road to play Lewis University on Saturday afternoon (Apr. 3). The Hawks dropped by a 18-7 final score.
The Flyers went ahead early in the first half and scored 11 goals in the first two periods as the Hawks trailed 11-3 to start the second half. The Hawks scored four goals in the second half, but it wasn't enough as Lewis scored seven more goals to end the game. Jayme Brain scored the most for the Hawks with a total of three goals. Gage Evans, Mason Marano, Preston Willman, and Jordan Ernst helped QU with one goal each. The Hawks fell by a final of 18-7.

The Hawks will return home to face No. 20 Rockhurst University on Tuesday afternoon (Apr. 6) at QU Stadium.
