QUINCY, Ill. – The Quincy University women's soccer team welcomed Truman State University to Legends Stadium on Sunday afternoon (March 28). The Hawks were held scoreless in a 3-0 defeat to the Bulldogs.
The game was deadlocked for almost the entire first half as both teams put together strong battles for ball possession. Truman State got one to go in on a slow roller with less than a minute before halftime after a collision at the top of Quincy's box. After the half, the Hawks were not able to regain momentum as the Bulldogs scored two more goals to stretch their lead to three. This deficit was too much to dig out of as the Hawks fell for the first time at home all season.
Next Game
The Hawks will be traveling to Liberty, Missouri on Thursday (Apr. 1) to face William Jewell College.
