Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 QUINCY, Ill. – The QU tennis program celebrated their senior student-athletes at Reservoir Park on Saturday afternoon (March 20). The Hawks did battle with Southern Indiana but dropped both the men's and women's pairings, 5-2 on the men's side and 6-1 on the women's side. 

Senior Erik Weiler won his number one match 6-2, 6-4 to go out victorious on senior day. Brenden Everhart was the only other Hawk to pick up a win on the day as he won in the number three spot, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. 

Laila Leist-Alston was the only female to earn a victory on the women's side of the conference matchup. Leist-Alton won in the number one's match 6-4, 6-2. 

The pairing of senior Makaela Hampton and freshman Steffi Lao won the number two doubles match 6-3 to round out the Hawk wins on Saturday. 

Quincy will be back on the court this coming Wednesday (March 24) when they travel to Lewis and Clark Community College.
