KIRKSVILLE, MO. - The QU women's volleyball team got back on the winning track with a straight set sweep over Truman State on Saturday (Oct. 9).
The Hawks fired a total of 51 kills on 124 attack attempts on their way to a .274 hitting percentage as a team. Freshman Emma Wijnbergen led the offense for Quincy and accumulated an impressive .536 hitting percentage and slammed a career-high 18 kills. Emily Rehagen also added 18 kills for the Hawks while hitting an efficient .368 in the contest. The defense for the Hawks was led by America Galvan who had 17 digs. Makayla Knoblauch sent out 39 assists to go along with ten digs on her way to another double-double.

The Hawks will travel to the Midwest Regional Crossover next weekend with their opponents and game times to be determined.
