Indianapolis, IN. - The Quincy University women's volleyball team dropped their second straight game on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 2) after falling in four sets to Indianapolis.
The Hawks lost the last three sets after winning the first set by a 25-17 score. Even though the Greyhounds defense was strong, the Hawks out hit them with a total of 61 kills and 56 assists. Sarah Brown led the Hawks offense with 14 kills and a .370 hitting percentage. Elizabeth Lightner fired 14 kills as well, and she was followed by Emma Wijnbergen who had 12. Makayla Knoblauch led the Hawks in assists, as she collected a total of 46. America Galvan led QU's defense and dug out 25 of UIndy's attacks. Kailey Owsley ended up with 15 digs and Emily Rehagen had 13. Quincy ended up losing the match in four sets, 25-17 Quincy, 25-22, 29-27, and 25-23 UINDY.

The Hawks will return home on Tuesday (Oct. 5) when they welcome Drury University at Pepsi Arena at 7:00 PM.
