GREENEVILLE, TN. - After playing in the Chicago area on Sunday, the Quincy University men's lacrosse team traveled nearly nine hours down to Greeneville, Tennessee to take on Tusculum University on Tuesday evening (March 10). The Hawks were handed a 24-1 defeat as
Parker Toney scored the lone goal.
The Hawks managed just three total shots with only one on goal in the first two quarters.
The duo of
Sam Huff and
Ian Speth did their best to slow the Pioneers attack, but the home team rattled off 62 total shots with 43 on goal. The two goalies combined to make 19 stops in the contest.
After a sluggish first half, the offense rattled off 15 shots in the final two quarters. Only one found the back of the net as
Parker Toney scored with seven minutes left in the game for his first goal of the season.
Next Game
The Hawks will stay on the road and head to Alabama to take on the Chargers of Alabama Huntsville on Saturday (March 14) for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
