The Warriors got the ball back with 11:30 left in the half. Quincy stopped WSU on three straight downs to get off the field and give the ball back to the offense. The Hawk offense was not able to gain any traction. A quick three-and-out of their own brought the punt unit back on the field.
After three-and-outs again by both teams, the Warriors got the ball with less than five minutes left in the half. WSU drove ten plays in over four and a half minutes and tacked on another touchdown just before halftime.
Wayne State led 31-7 at half.
3rd Quarter
Quincy got the ball to start the second half following an extended halftime intermission due to a lightning delay. The Hawks went three-and-out as Kewney came out to punt. On the return, Wayne State muffed the punt, and QU recovered the ball.

Andrew Rund was sacked and stripped on the WSU five-yard line. Wayne State recovered the fumble to take over possession.
Neither team was able to score in the remainder of the third quarter.
4th Quarter
