SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The Quincy University men's and women's tennis teams both dropped a GLVC matchup to Illinois Springfield on Friday afternoon (Mar. 22). Both teams fell 7-0 in the conference opener.

Anna Konczak and Abby Moore played competitive first sets, falling 7-5 in both matches. Konczak was defeated by a final score of 7-5, 6-3 and Moore fell 7-5, 6-1.

The women's tennis team were unable to secure a victory in the nine matches against the Prairie Stars.

In men's singles play, Eric Weiler took Alex Chan to three sets at the No.4 position, but ultimately lost in a tight match, 6-3, 3-6, 3-6.

The Hawks were unable to pick up a win in doubles action.
